About odor during printing

Some users may notice a plastic or “sweet” smell during printing, even when using low-emission materials and our ventilation system. This is normal and does not mean the air quality is poor or that the system is not working.

Odor and air quality are not the same. Low-emission materials can still release trace odor molecules when heated, and the human nose can detect these at extremely low levels—well below any air-quality concern.
Sensitivity to smells also varies greatly between individuals, which is why some users notice odors more than others.
Our ventilation system creates controlled airflow, not an airtight vacuum. While particles and VOCs are effectively reduced, tiny amounts of odor can still be detectable as air naturally moves through small enclosure gaps.

To further reduce residual odor, sealing unnecessary enclosure gaps and adding supplemental activated carbon inside the printer can help.
